Back to school : making new friends

Hey girlz

Today's post us going too be the first in my back to school series. And I've decided to start with some advice. So it got me thinking. I was wondering what I had the most experience in, and then it hit me. Changing school and making new friends. So I've been to a total of 10 different schools in my life and I'm only 15 years old, so I've had to make many friends in the past few years

OK, so this is a big topic when it comes to changing schools. Making new friends can be tricky, scary and nerve wracking, but here are a few tips to make it that much easier.

Tip #1: Don't be afraid to talk to people ( this is the easiest way to make frisnds , don't be afraid, just go up to someone and talk to them. Complement them on what they're wearing, or talk about your teachers or your timetable. Although this is easier said than done, what do you have to lose ??)

Tip #2: Don't be afraid to go out of your comfort zone (what this means is don't not go up to someone and talk to them because they don't look like someone you would hand out with, you never know what might happen. That person might just become your new best friend)

Tip #3: Talk to the other new students ( you're not the only new person in your school. Every new student will be as scared as you are and also want to make new friends. So those are the easiest friends to make)

Tip #4: Join school clubs and activities ( this is not only a great way to make friends, but also to have fun. You'll at least have one thing in common with the people you meetg in a school club.)

Tip #5: Be yourself (I know that this sounds very cheesy, but it's the truth. It doesn't matter how many friends you have, if you're not yourself around them, then they can't be considered as real friends.so just be you and act like yourself.)

So, I really hope that these tips we're helpful. Comment down below or tweet me for ideas on more back to school posts.

My Favorite Beauty Gurus On YouTube

Hey Girlz,
So this post is going to be my favorite beauty gurus on YouTube. Most of them are quite famous and others not so much. I will be linking all of their channels. So all you have to do is click on their user-names.

1. Beautybaby44 is my all time favorite beauty guru because she seams so kind, she uploads regularly, ( at least 3 times a week), she cares about her subscribers and does many giveaways. Lindsey spends a lot of time on her videos. She is going to turn 18 soon. She currently has over 195 000 subscribers.

2. Akadoll is the second beauty guru I'm going to talk about. She is 20 years old and makes great videos too, she too uploads very regularly. She has around 60 000 subscribers.

3. Strawberryelectric48 is so funny, she can really make your day when your watching one of her videos. She is 17 years old and almost has 80 000 subscribers. Once again I love her videos.

4.Meghanrosette is hilarious, every time I watch one of her videos I literally laugh until I cry. She is 19 years old and has about 155 000 subscribers. I love her personality and her makeup skills.

5. Missglamorazzi is a very bubbly girl, she always has a smile on her face and makes very fun videos to watch such as her GIY videos (glam it yourself) where she shows us how to make cute things (bags, jewelry, organization...) I don't know her age but she has 590 000 subscribers.

6. Allthatglitters21 & Juicustar07 are most probably the most popular beauty gurus on Youtube. Also known as Elle & Blaire they have their own makeup brand, a book, a store...  They get quite a bit of hate, but I still Love them. Elle has 790 000 subscribers at the age of 24 and he sister Blaire has 1 030 000 at the age of I think 19.

7. Fleurdeforce is a British beauty guru on YouTube unlike all the others I've talked about who are American, She has the typical British accent which I know we all love. She is 24 and has a bit over 370 000 subscribers.

8. Macbarbie07 is another big Youtube beauty guru with over 840 000 subscribers. The thing I love the most about her is the editing she does on her videos but also her sense of fashion.

9. Stilababe09 is only 16 and has over 200 000 subscribers. She is the typical girl next door, sweet, nice and funny. Her editing is great too.

 10. Teenbeautychannel is the youngest beauty guru I watch on YouTube, she is only 14 years old and has over 16 000 subscribers which is great for her age. She is very funny and       outgoing.

11. Pinkfreeze133 is another British beauty guru I believe she is 15 or 16 years old and she has the fewest subscribers around 2 500.

Thank you so much for reading this post and please comment down below who your favorite beauty gurus are on YouTube.

Nailz Of The Day: China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise (Neon)

Hey girlz,
Today I'm going to be doing a 'nailz of the day' post which consists in reviewing a nail polish that I'm currently loving. I absolutely love china glaze polishes. I don't own many because they are so expensive in the UK at £6.59 the nail polish. But this one just stood out, mainly because it was such a bright color and was just perfect for the summer.

So this is how the color looks in the bottle. It's a very pretty neon turquoise. It's turns out a bit more green on your nails depending on how many coats you apply.
I have gotten so many compliment on this nail color and I'm loving it for the summer.
I hope you girlz go check it out and thank you so much for reading.

The Body Shop Wish-list

Hey Girlz,
So today I'm going to be doing my wish-list from the body shop.  I have heard many good things about all the products I'm going to mention. I have 5 products to talk about, so without farther a do lets get right into it.

1.)Like many teenage girls I have to deal with acne 24h a day, but some days my face just gets out of control. So I heard about tea tree being very helpful with acne prone skin, so I looked it up and found the body shop tea tree toner. Ever since that day I've been dying to try it out !
Here it is, it's only £4.50, which i find quite cheap for a toner.
It claims to:
- Remove traces of make-up, cleanser and impurities
- Have mattifying powders leave skin shine-free
- Be clinically proven to guve clearer-looking skin

2.) The second product is a lip product and I just find them so cute and being such a great concept. They are inspired by the body butters. I love my lips when they are soft and moisturized, so what can be better then a lip butter ? I absolutely love the packaging it's the exact same thing as the body butter but in mini.
It is quite expensive for the amount of product you actually get but I still think that £4 is worth the spend.
It claims to:
- Give instant hydration
- Have a buttery texture
- To leave lips feeling soft and smooth

3.) My third product is yet again a lip product, what a surprise ! But it is quite different, it's more of a tinted lip balm, it's their "Born lippy stick lip balm" and the one i want is in "pink berry. This one gives a very nice pink tint to the lips. I like how the packaging is the same color you get on your lips.
This lip balm is at quite a good price, only £3.
It claims to:
- Moisturize and condition lips
- Give a light pink tint
- Give a subtle shine
- Have a fruity berry flavour
4.) The fourth product I have for you today is a perfume. I love my vanilla perfumes and the body shop's one is very popular. I heard about this perfume from a YouTube video and ever since i have been wanting to buy it.
It is at quite a reasonable price for a perfume £9.
It claims to:
- Have a sweet vanilla scent
- Be a eau de toilette

5.) The fifth and final product I have for you today is a Body Shop must have and that is one of their body scrubs. Every single review I have read about this product is positive so I can't wait to get one myself. The one I want is the "Sweet Lemon" sent because I want the body scrub to give my body a refreshing feel.
This body scrub is on the pricier side it's £12.50.
It claims to:
- Remove dead skin cells
- Leave skin feeling soft and smooth
- Stimulate skin microcirculation
- Have a zesty citrus scent

I will be reviewing all these products once I purchase them, I hope you enjoyed my first post and thank you for reading.

xoxo Charlotte
